¡Hola! I’m Marco. My family is from Colombia so I grew up surrounded by Latin American culture and love sharing my language and culture with others. In my free time, you can find me enjoying Latin dances such as bachata, salsa and cumbia, or playing the bongos!
Experience
I’ve been a Spanish tutor for over three years, and I’m now focusing on tutoring full-time. In addition to being fluent, I have studied Spanish at the university level, along with linguistics and teaching.

You are the one who decides your goals and learning style. As your teacher, I give you the information, skills and practice you need to reach your goals. My motivation is to set each of my students up to be life-long language learners and Spanish speakers.

LESSONS
I specialize in helping beginners build a strong foundation in conversational Latin American Spanish. We start from the very beginning with pronunciation, and build from there to cover essential vocabulary and grammar.
Each lesson is structured according the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Language) guidelines, ensuring steady progress through clear, achievable goals.
The first half of each lesson focuses on new topics and vocabulary and the second half focuses on practice. Lessons are easy and digestible with a focus on developing conversational Spanish step by step.
